Aloha, guys! Some J2M encounters from HonCon that people from my Latin American SPN group shared.

A few people flew to Hawaii for this, and apparently the trip was well worth it! lol  Dean and Cas fans, you guys owe me for bringing these to you! lol 

These are my summaries and translations, since this was shared in Spanish! 🙂

Encounter #1:

So my best friend Lena asked Jared if he felt left out because of the Dean/Cas lovefest that happens a lot in this fandom. He literally barrelled over laughing and said, “No, no, I love it. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” She smiled really wide and said, “Sam doesn’t feel like the third wheel?” Jared apparently responded teasingly, “Sam appreciates his alone time.” She said that he looked like a mischievous little kid, and if anyone thinks he hates Dean/Cas then they should have seen his smile because it was very warm and genuine.

Encounter #2

Someone from the group asked Misha if Cas viewed himself as Jack’s father, because Jack chose him as his dad, and Misha said he did, but he has been more like an absentee father and that Sam’s been the legal guardian. Then Jensen added, “And Dean’s been the grumpy step dad!” LOL! So, basically, Misha and Jensen just confirmed that Dean and Cas are Jack’s dads, who just happen to be lousy at parenting so Uncle Sam has been taking over! The girl who shared this also said that Jensen and Misha laughed and blushed hard after Jensen said this like they just realized what they had implied. It sounded hilarious.

Encounter #3

A girl asked Jensen, “Why does Dean call Jack half-angel in the last episode but anti-christ and other bad names before?” and Jensen said, “In the beginning, he could only see Lucifer in Jack, now he sees Cas.”

Encounter #4

The girl who posted this didn’t share too much context, it was a comment in a longer thread, but she asked Misha why Cas looked a bit subdued during the reunion, and he said Cas was trying to keep it cool because being back meant so much to him. “He was nervous. He didn’t want to fuck it up, because it meant so much to him.”

Encounter #5

Not really an exchange of dialogue, but someone asked Jensen and Misha if they were happy that Team Free Will 2.0 now has a child among the ranks, and Jensen said, “They feel more bonded with Jack, like a missing link” but said that with Jack gone, Team Free Will is fractured again. Hmm…not sure what to make of this one. Thoughts? I do like that Jensen supports the Team Free Will 2.0 idea. I think Jensen has always loved TFW so it makes sense that he loves its second permutation.

Encounter #6

A girl told Jensen that Tombstone was now her favorite episode of Supernatural, and he laughed, put his hand on Misha’s shoulder and said, “I called that one.” And Misha kind of laughed, nodding, “You did.” Jensen then sort of repeated what he told Misha on the set, “Fans are gonna go nuts.” And Misha laughed nodding like ‘it’s all true, you did say that’. My friend also got the impression that they’ve been hearing about Tombstone all convention long. lol And at the end, Jensen said, “It was a good one” about the episode. So, he’s a fan, guys! No doubt about it. 

Anyway, I’ll share more if you guys want them, but these are the ones that stood out as being more relevant because they were mainly about this week’s Supernatural episode.
